Melanie Myhre effortlessly glides between painting and photographic expression. Melanie's photography invites the viewer to explore the world from a more intimate perspective, and often it evokes a haunting remembrance of the innocence of childhood. Emotional elements are an important ingredient in her work, which has often led it to be described as haunting, mystical, and downright magical. Her emotionally evocative work has earned her recognition from the beginning. Melanie is the recent winner of the Eureka Springs Grand Illumination Photography contest.
